We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.
Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
Valentine Health Partnership offers a Walk-in and Wait Clinic for registered patients, Monday to Friday at the Ferryview Health Centre.
This clinic is a "one problem only" service and runs from 08:00-11:00 am ( or until we reach the maximum number of patients)
Please also note clinicians will not able to deal with:
Requests for Repeat medication; requests for Extension of medical certificates; requests for Re-referrals, any Medical reports or Letters, Proof of attendances for school/work, Immunisations, Travel vaccinations or Smears. If you need help with the above issues please contact Reception.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
Your General Practice is currently working with The Health Foundation to test different ways to increase continuity of care for patients. Mott MacDonald has been brought in to gather feedback on your views about this.
Continuity is when you see the same GP and form a therapeutic relationship with them. It means that you know each other well.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The information that you give us will remain completely anonymous.
